Moth & Bones One of a Kind Garments
Moth & Bones is a one-of-a-kind upcycled clothing line. Upcycling in design is about repurposing discarded materials or products into items of higher utility and aesthetic value.
I create one of a kind pieces with the same viewpoint as my paintings and sculpture. Each garment is designed for versatility, elegance and comfort with a rock star vibe.

Queen's Collar Skully Jeans Jacket
I LOVE this jacket. It has an unusual structured cut for a jeans jacket that shows off curves beautifully.
Featuring a reclaimed rabbit fur collar and perfectly placed rhinestones along the lapel and front pockets for a subtle sparkle as well as a rhinestone skull and wings decoration on the back.

The scarf that started it all...
A friend gave me her favorite cashmere scarf that had been 'ruined' by moths. I felt an instant connection to it. To me it wasn't ruined, just changed. Because I'd been transforming sweaters into hats, I felt I could make something interesting.
Because the scarf had been attacked by moths plus my love of bones and skulls, the idea to call my clothing line Moth & Bones was a no-brainer.

Drape Dress/Jacket
I was elated to find this cool dress/jacket and leveled it up with burnout velvet fabric details. Fun and versatile. It looks fabulous with the Swank Vest

Swank Suit Vest
Originally a suit jacket that had strangely short arms became a Swank Suit Vest with burnout velvet cheetah fabric details and a re-purposed fur collar.

Sequin Vest
This vest just makes you feel GOOD. With sequin applique details on the front and back it sparkles and shines, even at night.

Dope AF Cropped Hoodie
Who doesn't love a cozy cropped hoodie? The sleeves were several inches too short, so I made them extra long for a nice bunch at the bottom. Delish.

Black Queen's Collar Jeans Jacket
This leveled up distressed jeans jacket is full on rock star. Featuring a reclaimed fur collar, a fleur de lis rhinestone pattern on the back, and fiery but subtle black rhinestones lining the lapel and front pocket.
SOLD

Camo Destroyed Jeans Jacket
This versatile oversize distressed jeans jacket features a reclaimed purple fur collar and a rhinestone studded skull applique on the back. The collar can be worn turned up or down depending on your mood.
Super easy to style with jeans or a dress, it's a great statement one-of-a-kind piece.

Military Jacket
When I got this jacket home it sat for a while...I had no ideas. And then one day it came to me. The color of the garment I destroyed to make this one went beautifully with the army green. It came out just as I imagined. The cut is forgiving and can be dressed up or down. The original buttons were boring so I replaced them with one of my fave button designs from my button guy in London.

Mossy Cush Sweater
Originally this sweater was a cardigan with a frumpy icky fit. I changed it up by cropping it and adding burnout velvet fabric to the front and silk trim around the collar. Much better. Really cushy and soft.

Skully Sophisticate Jacket
Normally I'm not into a conservative cut but the fabric was too interesting not to take a second look. I'm very glad I chose it. The fit is perfect and the fabric outstanding. To 'punk' it up I added splashes of rhinestones on the shoulders and a skull applique studded with rhinestones on the back with little skulls applique on the cuffs. If you look closely there's black studs on the collar and pockets too. The result is a subtle and harmonious.

Queen's Collar Sweater
This unique piece is one of my favorites. When I had the idea to add more sweater to the collar, it had an unexpected shape to it; like the queens of the past. It has a gorgeous drape and features extended sleeves to give the bunch around the wrists that's my signature style. Just an awesome sweater.
